As a results-driven real estate professional, I bring a rare blend of marketing expertise, lending knowledge, and decades of business leadership to every home I represent. My focus is simple: deliver exceptional service and clear, confident guidance - especially for homeowners who want a smooth, stress-free selling experience.
Nine years inside the lending industry
I spent nine years in lending, mastering every major loan type: conventional, VA, FHA, and reverse mortgages. That experience means I can accurately evaluate any offer that includes financing and help you understand the strength of each buyer. It also gives me a deep understanding of the transaction from the lender's side - an advantage that protects you from the day we list to the day we close.
For a buyer, it means your financing questions get answered by someone who has actually underwritten and structured loans, not handed off with a referral. I write about this directly in what kind of loan makes sense if you're buying in The Grand.
Thirty years of marketing and selling
Before entering lending, I built Marshall Marketing Group Inc from the ground up, growing it to more than $2.5 million in annual sales. During that time I earned the Certified Direct Marketing Professional designation from the Direct Marketing Association. For over 30 years I helped companies successfully market and sell their products and services, and today I use those same proven strategies to help you sell your home for the best possible return.
I also started two other successful companies, each with a co-founder who helped me run it:
- Evergreen Utility Services Inc - we audited industrial companies' utility bills to find savings and shared in the savings on any changes we helped implement.
- Evergreen Recruiting Group Inc - we recruited operation level and executive level individuals in the mortgage banking industry.
Education
I earned my bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Seattle University and later completed coursework in their MBA program before launching my marketing firm. That blend of analytical thinking, business training, and hands-on experience is how I approach a home sale: with professionalism, precision, and a commitment to outstanding results.
Why flat fee
For decades the standard listing fee hovered near 3% of the sale price, even as technology made it far easier to put a home in front of thousands of buyers. I decided to make my compensation commensurate with the work done. Full representation - pricing, preparation, MLS and portal exposure, showings, offer evaluation, negotiation, closing management - for one flat fee. The flat-fee program page lays out exactly what's included and what isn't.
Personal
My wife Stacy and I live right here in The Grand, after spending many years in Renton, Washington. Living in the community I work in every day gives me a perspective that goes well beyond what you'll find online. Stacy is also a REALTOR® who primarily works with buyers, so real estate in The Grand is a regular part of our conversations; what buyers are looking for, what they're asking about, and what matters most to them when choosing a home and neighborhood.
If you want to learn more about Stacy, go to her website stacysellsazsun.com. You can learn more about her there, and she has even more information on West Valley 55+ communities. I focus on listing and selling homes here at a flat fee; Stacy spends her days touring them with buyers, so between the two of us a family gets both sides of the market covered.
Visit Stacy's sitestacysellsazsun.comThat firsthand knowledge allows me to answer questions with specifics rather than generalities; which golf course backs up to which neighborhoods, when the recreation centers are busiest, what life is like during the summers, and the small nuances you only pick up by actually living here. When a buyer or seller wants to understand what day-to-day life in The Grand is really like, I'm answering from inside the community, not from across town.

How I actually work
I explain the numbers before I ask for a signature, I read the loan behind every offer, and I tell you when the answer is wait, or when something is not worth doing. That is the whole method.
